Members:

Jez Clutterbuck – Lead Singer

Father of three; Christian; Archaeologist and ultimately Singer and trumpet player styled out of ‘Bel Canto’ and Brass Bands and re-imagined by funk-rock.

Jez was a mainstay in the cornet and horn section of the Southampton Albion Band contributing to European tours for several years before being inspired by a ‘Freddie Mercury’ tribute concert (that Mark, Will, his older brother Doug, and friend Bjorn were starring in) to become a singer.

Jez has enjoyed classical singing with locally renowned vocal coach Jessica Orba, performances with London Opera Vocal (LOV) and internationally renowned Mezzo Soprano Ann Atkinson. He also taught singing at the Pauline Quirke Academy and when time permits; privately.

Jez was asked to join the initial forerunner to The Gun Show (The Grind) by Mark after collaboration on a charity gig to raise money for Uganda in 2004. Jez’s trumpet skills soon re-emerged after he realised he didn’t need to worry about not having music in front of him! Jez would say he further found a mutual love of late 80’s guitar heroism, funk and classic rock in Mark’s fret-board library and has enjoyed the complimentary journey of development! As Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17)
